Thanks Graham. I'm trying to get this working, but everytime I try to use the ra.sh script from the terminal when NetBooted, I get the "Resource busy" error message on the volume I am trying to apply the updates. I get this whether I use the ra.sh script or command-line fsdiff + lapply commands. Any ideas?
